Travel Lalitpur Nepal with Dipesh

Phulchowki is the tallest hill of Kathmandu valley located at the top of Godavari,Lalitpur.It is at the height of 2782 m. Phulchowki hill is surrounded by the dense forest of different plants,one of the famous plant is of Rhododendron. We can find different coloured Rhododendron here. Rhododendron is Nepal's national flower. It is very cold in the winter and normally at the end of the winter there is a snowfall here. Normally at the start of February, there is snowfall at Phulchowki and other hills of Lalitpur. Here is video  of snow at Chandragiri, Lele, Fulchowki and  Lek. Phulchowki always has been a place to hike. It is a beautiful trial from Godavari through a dense forest to the top of the hill. There is a shrine of Phulchowki mata, an army camp and a tower. Kaleshwor Mahadev is  a form of Lord Shiva also know as Mahadev. Kaleshwor Mahadev temple is established to worship Lord Shiva. This is one of many Shiva temples found in Nepal. Normally we find temples and monasteries at the top of almost every hills of Nepal. This temple too is located at a beautiful landscape, at the top of a hill of Lalitpur. A little plain area, a small temple with Shrine of Lord Shiva, trisuls and ghanta is not just what Kaleshwor temple  is all about. Many people come here to worship Lord Shiva. It is believed that you can even win over your death. But the thing that attract most of the people who visit here is the beautiful view from the top. Despite being a beautiful height Kot dada is still unknown to many outdoor as well as indoor travellers.Kot dada is a famous height located at southern part of Kathmandu valley.
