Lamkunda(Lamo kunda) Godavari

Lamo kunda also known as lamkunda is located at Godavari, Lalitpur. It is a pond where overflown fresh water from Paanchdhara is collected. Fresh water of kunda is flow from 5 taps located inside the temple and the water is collected in a small pond. Then the overflown water is collected at the down side of the road which is famously known as Lamkunda. The view is more attractive with the fresh water pond and small temples at the side of the pond. Famous Godavari picnic spot just lies above lamkunda.

Locals are working on rebuilding it and reconstructing it. As it is also one of the main sources of irrigation for the people living near by. The pond was also absorbed as a boating spot. So it will add more value to the beautiful place, Godavari. The view at the evening is more beautiful.

Santaneshwor Mahadev temple located at Jharuwarashi, Lalitpur is a beautiful place to visit. It is believed that if you don't have a child, go worship here and you are blessed with a child. Santaneshwor is a Shiva temple at a top of the hill. It looks very beautiful from the down.
