Panch Dhara is quiet and peaceful almost all the days despite Saturdays since a lot of people visit Godavari on Saturdays for picnic or hangouts. Many people visit here just to touch the water since it is believed to be pure. Some even take the water with them.
Despite being surrounded by a beauty, Panch dhara is famous for the mela that is held every 12 Years. Once in a 12 years there is a huge mela at Panch dhara and it is believed that if you bath from the water flowing from any of the 5 taps, all your sins are excused.

To go to Panch dhara, you can take a bus from Lagankhel or Sathdobato heading towards Godavari. After you reach Godavari bus park, you then take a road heading straight to East. Also famous botanical garden is at this direction. You pass walls of Botanical garden and some restaurants at the end and a Buddist monastery to finally reach to Panch Dhara. I am sure the walk from bus park to Panch dhara is certainly beautiful and enjoyable.
