Snow fall at hills of lalitpur 2019

When people of Kathmandu valley were thinking that the summer has arrived with bright sun at the day time, there was a huge snowfall all around Kathmandu valley early this morning.People hardly could believe this at the end of February. Phulchowki covered with snow All the hills surrounding Kathmandu Valley were white covered with snow. It was normal to see snow at the tops of tall hills of Lalitpur like Phulchowki and Lele at the end of winter, but snowfall almost at every hill is hardly seen. Snow at Kot There was a huge snowfall after heavy storm, wind and rain early at the morning at almost every hills of kathmandu valley and places near to them. This has happened after 10 years. Rare Snowfall at Phulchowki Lalitpur

Phulchowki is the tallest hill of Kathmandu valley located at the top of Godavari,Lalitpur.It is at the height of 2782 m. Phulchowki hill is surrounded by the dense forest of different plants,one of the famous plant is of Rhododendron. We can find different coloured Rhododendron here. Rhododendron is Nepal's national flower. It is very cold in the winter and normally at the end of the winter there is a snowfall here. Normally at the start of February, there is snowfall at Phulchowki and other hills of Lalitpur. Here is video  of snow at Chandragiri, Lele, Fulchowki and  Lek. Phulchowki always has been a place to hike. It is a beautiful trial from Godavari through a dense forest to the top of the hill. There is a shrine of Phulchowki mata, an army camp and a tower. Beautiful; view from the top is mind blowing. Locals often visit to the top of the hill especially on the day of Baishak Purnima. You can find some people on a hike at the middle of the jungle on other days too

Bishankhu narayan cave (Kakaro)

Bishankhu Narayan temple is located at Lalitpur, Bagmati, Nepal. Bishankhu Narayan is one of the four Narayans located at each corner of Kathmandu valley. Narayan is another name to Lord Bishnu. It is said that this temple was built by Haridutta Varma around 43 - 143 AD.According to legend, the hillock near the temple was formed when Lord Vishnu destroyed the demon Bhasmasura, who, having attained from Lord Shiva the power to turn anybody he touched into ashes, had tried to test the power upon the deity himself. Panch Dhara(Godavari Kunda)

Pancha Dara is a famous place at Godavari,Lalitpur,Nepal. It is also famously known as Godavari kunda. Similar to Nau dhara, Panch dhara is also a Nepali name for 5 taps, where "Panch" stands for 5 and "Dhara" stands for "taps".Panch dhara has 5 taps flowing with fresh spring water every time, small temples, and ponds.Old  stone taps designed as dragon heads are very beautiful.Dense forest all around add another beauty to it. This beautiful statue of Shree swosthani mata is located at a beautiful view point of Santaneshwor Mahadev temple. From here you can have a view of beautiful green fields,village of lalitpur, cities of Kathmandu, hills above them and beautiful himalayan range at North. Shree Swosthani Mata is a powerful Goddess worshiped by hindus especially at the month of Magh by listening to her stories. Hindus read a book also called Shree Swosthani on the month of magh and share the stories to others. People visit Santaneshwor at Magh since it is related to Shree Swosthani katha. It is believed that Santaneshwor is formed when Shiva madly carried out dead body of Sati and roamed the world. Stairs to Kot dada connecting underdeveloped village with developing ones

At the middle of the jungle you can find this beautiful stairs which connects Dadagaun and Kot Dada together.You can find this stairs middle of nowhere when you head towards Kot dada from Lubhu or Lamatar at Dadagaun, Lalitpur. Stairs in between Dadagaun,Lalitpur and Kot dada, Lalitpur This is one of the oldest way to go to Kot dada. People of Kot have used this stairs for ages and still have been using this daily. In the middle of a dense forest, this stair is a beauty.

On the lap of phulchowki lies Nau Dhara

Nau dhara is located at lap of Phulchowki hill which is the tallest hill of kathmandu valley. It can be also said that Nau dhara is the starting point to start trekking to Phulchowki. Nau dhara means 9 taps in Nepali.  Surrounded by trees, you can find 9 tap with waters coming out of it, a pond and temples. Peaceful and silent places in the middle of a dense forest, where you can completely get lost in the nature. SwethBarahi Temple is at the middle of traditional Newar village Badegaun

SwethBarahi temple is located at badegaun, lalitpur, 6 km away from Sathdobato. Despite being at a the heart of newar village badegaun,full of cultures and only some meters away from Goadavari highway, this temple still is unknown to many people.
