Snow fall at hills of lalitpur 2019

When people of Kathmandu valley were thinking that the summer has arrived with bright sun at the day time, there was a huge snowfall all around Kathmandu valley early this morning.People hardly could believe this at the end of February.

All the hills surrounding Kathmandu Valley were white covered with snow. It was normal to see snow at the tops of tall hills of Lalitpur like Phulchowki and Lele at the end of winter, but snowfall almost at every hill is hardly seen.

There was a huge snowfall after heavy storm, wind and rain early at the morning at almost every hills of kathmandu valley and places near to them. This has happened after 10 years. Before 10 years there was also huge snowfall at many parts of  Kathmandu valley including Lalitpur.

There was a snow fall for the first time on many small heights and plains of Lalitpur too. People living on the plains of Lalitpur could also experience icy water coming down from the clouds and soft cotton like snow for some minutes. Many landscapes were covered with snow for the first time which were never seen before.

Kot Dada Lalitpur

Despite being a beautiful height Kot dada is still unknown to many outdoor as well as indoor travellers.Kot dada is a famous height located at southern part of Kathmandu valley. From the top of the place you can have a beautiful view of  all three cities of Kathmandu valley i.e. Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur which of course will cherish your heart and soul. Santaneshwor Mahadev

Santaneshwor Mahadev temple located at Jharuwarashi, Lalitpur is a beautiful place to visit. It is believed that if you don't have a child, go worship here and you are blessed with a child. Santaneshwor is a Shiva temple at a top of the hill. It looks very beautiful from the down. Located at the top of a hill made of rocks with some salla tree at the East, You have to take a long steep ladder to reach the top. You can climb to the temple from 3 directions East, West and North. climbing from South is almost not possible as it is made out of rocks. Santaneshwor Mahadev Temple, Lalitpur, Nepal People often visit here, but on the months of Shrawan and Magh, a lot of people visit here.
